About
SweatBRK.

The biggest barrier to exercising isn’t money, willpower or accessibility. It’s time. Corporate workers typically begin their commute around 1.5 hours before work starts and don’t get home until around 2 hours after it finishes. Add in the school run, fatigue from a busy day and the other commitments life throws at us, and there’s very little time left to fit in a workout and focus on yourself.

That’s exactly why I created SweatBRK: to give busy professionals the time and resources to work out, stay fit and look after themselves, all within the time they already have in their working day.

SweatBRK brings 45-minute functional small-group PT sessions straight to your office. Set-up, best-in-class coaching and pack-down are all included, so all your team needs to do is turn up!

The sessions are full-body workouts using kit such as kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands, sandbags, medicine balls, mats and bodyweight exercises.

A SweatBRK session isn’t just a workout, it’s personal training in a group setting. Your coach can progress or regress exercises to suit individual abilities, correct form, and give verbal, visual and tactile coaching cues in real time, while motivating and pushing your staff to get the most out of every session.

Sessions can run almost anywhere in your office, such as a meeting room, foyer or car park. We’ll agree the best space during an initial consultation call.

The benefits don’t stop with your employees, though. After six years working in the corporate world in London, I know first-hand how much productivity slips after lunch, and how team-building is almost always limited to pints at the pub. The figures back this up: 71% of employees feel less productive in the afternoon, 61% of executives say productivity improvements are on their agenda, and 56% of people say their career is the main barrier to staying fit and healthy.

About
Laurence Temple

Certified Fitness Coach and Founder

I’m a certified personal trainer and coach at F45 and Outtrain in Cambridge, running 1-1 PT and group sessions, mostly for corporate clients across the Cambridge area.

Before this, I spent six years in tech sales in London, across HRtech, FinTech and MarTech businesses. After those years, it took a solo motorbike trip to Lake Annecy to realise I needed more fulfilment, and that it was always going to come from fitness.

I’ve trained in bodybuilding, powerlifting and Muay Thai, among other sports, and I’ve been hooked on how fitness makes me feel, inside and out, since I was 16.

SweatBRK came from conversations with corporate clients who kept telling me the same thing: they hadn’t trained much that week because of work, the commute, the kids, the school run and all the other commitments life had thrown at them. I started thinking about how to bridge that gap: the lack of time to exercise, paired with a genuine understanding of what corporate life demands.

I think that’s what sets SweatBRK apart. I’ve sat through the meetings, chased the targets and felt the stress, and when I was working in London, I found it hard to train too. Sometimes I’d rush a 20-minute session at lunch and head back to my desk more stressed than when I left. More often than not, I skipped the gym altogether. I’m not coaching from the outside looking in. I’ve lived the exact problem I’m now helping to solve.

But it’s not just a lack of time that SweatBRK solves. During my sales career in London, the afternoon slump was a real problem. If I wasn’t rushing a gym session, my team and I would often head out for a nice lunch in London Bridge, only to return to our desks feeling sluggish, unproductive and, quite frankly, clock-watching until the day was done. That’s why SweatBRK isn’t just great for individuals, it’s a big win for the business too. Looking back, if I could have offered my sales team a workout at lunch to boost their afternoon productivity, I would have been its biggest advocate.
